ACCESSIBILITY AT BLUTE’S

We want Blute’s to be a welcoming space for everyone whether your coming to see a live show or jumping on stage yourself to sing karaoke. Below is a guide to venue access, facilities, and how we can help make your night smoother.

VENUE ACCESS

Blute’s Bar is located on the ground floor and is accessible via a slight step up into the venue entrance from Brunswick Street Mall. Once inside, the bar and main floor are flat and easy to move around. Please note: Our outdoor smoking area are accessed by stairs.

SEATING

We’re mostly a standing venue, but there are bar stools, booths, and tables throughout. If you need priority seating for accessibility, health, or comfort reasons, please email us ahead of time at hello@blutesbar.com and we’ll do what we can to help.

COMPANION CARDS

We accept Companion Cards. To arrange a companion ticket or discuss entry details, just email hello@blutesbar.com before your visit. Show your card at the door and our staff will take care of the rest.

LIGHTING & STROBES

Lighting at Blute’s is generally low during events, and we occasionally use flashing or strobe lights. If you’re sensitive to light effects or have low vision, feel free to reach out beforehand, we’ll give you a heads-up or assist where we can.

SUPPORT ANIMALS

Assistance and support animals are welcome. If you’re bringing one along, let us know ahead of time at hello@blutesbar.com so we can help with a smooth entry and set you up somewhere suitable. A friendly reminder it can be very loud at the venue.

TOILETS

Male and Female toilets are available within the venue as-well as an accessible bathroom.

QUIET SPACE

Need a break? While Blute’s is a lively space, our staff can help you step outside for a breather. Just ask someone behind the bar or at the door.

HOUSE POLICIES

Be kind. Look after your mates. Be respectful.

Blute’s is about good times and good people. We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, aggressive behaviour, or creepy vibes. If something doesn’t feel right, tell a staff member, we’ve got your back.

There’s no dress code, just wear enclosed shoes and clothes.

We serve responsibly and expect the same from our patrons. Management and security reserve the right to refuse entry or service to anyone acting disrespectful or unduly intoxicated.
